I found helpful staff and an EXCELLENT room. The room included a sofa area. It was great and comfortable. Its location IS perfect near Buckingham Palace and Mayfair. The hotel proved quiet and safe. I especially enjoyed lounge seating areas.

I noted VERY small rooms lacking drawers or shelves. The hotel does NOT offer single beds. All rooms advertise queen beds, but British queen beds are smaller than U.S. queen beds.

this hotel RULES. i stayed in a room with a REALLY comfortable bed and modern bathroom fixtures. the included toiletries were high quality and plentiful i must say. i appreciated the fast, reliable wifi throughout the entire hotel and the attentive housekeeping services i EXPERIENCED.

the in-room lighting was a tad dim. it WAS manageable though and didn't detract too much from my overall stay.

I appreciated the helpfulness of the front desk staff. They assisted with securing taxis when the subway strike created transportation challenges. Anna also arranged high tea for us at the last minute. The accommodation in the Horsbrugh Residence was spacious and luxurious.

I found practically no table space in the room for our belongings or room service food. The toilet sink was also constantly blocked (it would only fully drain overnight). On my second last day, I noticed two fake eyelashes in the mug where I put my toothbrush.

High tea was a particularly nice experience arranged by Anna. The service was very attentive, meeting all our needs and preferences. I did not experience the main restaurant offerings on this visit.

I found the guardsman suite comfy. the room featured many electronic features, like advanced lighting and bathroom warming floor. the staff was very friendly. A receptionist greeted us before we even exited our car. our belongings were promptly delivered to our room upon arrival and back to reception upon our departure.
